Oakwood Village Intergenerational Program

This is our second year with our afternoon 4K class going to Oakwood Village for an Intergenerational Musikgarten class. On the last Wednesday of the month, our afternoon class travels to Oakwood Village.  The children meet, dance, sing and be with 10 – 14 “Grandparents” for a 30 minute Musikgarten class together.  The “Grandparents” are all residents of the Memory Care Unit at Oakwood Village.

Art Night & Silent Auction Fundraiser - Huge Success!

Families and Friends joined us for a fun evening in November featuring the child’s artwork and creations. Artwork and silent auction items were available for purchase as a fundraiser for the preschool. We raised over $2,500 to put toward our playground! With the moneys raised we purchased two weather-proof, ergonomic, child-sized, smooth surfaced picnic, art, lunch, simple science project/discussion table for our playground! The kids, parents and teachers love them!
